Position Overview:
To lead a team in the successful recovery of compensation for our clients who have fallen victim to APP fraud or who have a valid regulatory complaint, meeting all relevant company KPIs whilst ensuring the effective leadership and development of the team.
The Manager plays a pivotal role within CEL by embodying and advancing our core values.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for the team and any queries they have
- Manage the day-to-day activities of your team including planning and organising team workload, ensuring the team is hitting targets and SLAs, managing all team absences
- Audit and review your team files along with letters of complaint and Financial Ombudsman forms
- Analyse and review MI reports to provide employees with feedback and assess team’s overall performance
- Provide all team training
- Setting targets, deadlines and SLAs for team
- Review team files for quality and assurance purposes
- Coach and support team to maximise productivity
Finance
- Raise payments to clients
- Oversee billing and debt reports for team
- Deal with any unallocated payments and unallocated post
Compliance
- Ensure the team is compliant with the firm’s closure process of files
- Ensure the team adhere to the workflow
- Be the first stage handler for complaints completing a full investigation when complaints a raised within your team
Data Analytics
- Have a strong experience of analysing data
- Analyse and review management information reports to make informed decisions
- Reviewing files for progression and prospects
- Delivering teams training
Any other duties as determined by management
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in a legal team leader/managerial role, preferably in a high-volume department
- Confident in supervising a team
- Experience in delivering training
- Professional and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of setting and managing team targets and SLAs
- Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to plan, manage performance and successfully coach and develop a team
- Experience in developing team members and effectively using management information to manage team’s performance and workloads
- Resilient and able to work in a constantly changing environment
- Pro-active and makes decisions, even if difficult or unpopular
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of all detailed aspects of the department, how it functions, and how that contributes to the success of the firm
- Excellent IT skills and proclaim experience (desirable)
